Epidemics of COVID-19 are occuring at different times across the globe so it is important to compare the spread of an epidemic in a given country with the appropriate stage in other countries. The following figures shows the cumulative number of cases in a country by number of days since the 100th case, number of days since the 1st case, and by calendar date, respectively.
Hover over points to get additional information and drag over areas to zoom in. Double click a country in the legend to isolate that curve and single click on a country or region in the legend to turn on or off a single curve.
For example:
Try double clicking the abbreviation for your home country on the right (I chose the USA down at the very bottom).
Then we can compare to some well known national outbreaks: click once on the abbreviation ITA (for Italy) and KOR (for South Korea).
How does your home country’s outbreak compare to these more mature trajectories?
